What we gather, how we use it, and what we don't do with it. In effect as of September 19, 2026.

The quote tool

Quotes require gender, birth date, how you'd rate your health, tobacco use, desired benefit, and term. These are passed to the carriers' quoting engine to fetch rates but aren't kept here. We don't gather your name, address, phone, or email to display quotes. Identical requests might be cached briefly to avoid re-querying the carriers.

Applying

If you apply, your answers populate a secure form managed by the carriers' system, and you then follow their privacy rules. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), oversees the full application process.

The contact form

Contact submissions ask for your name, email address, phone if you choose, how you'd prefer to hear back, what the message is about, and your note. It goes by email to the agency with your email as the return address. We don't store messages here, maintain a submission database, or log what was said. A brief spam-check runs in your browser before you send.

Measurement

Page visits are tallied through a cookie-free system from our own servers. We don't set cookies or device IDs; part of your IP is obscured before logging; referrer details are stripped; traffic logs disappear after 90 days. If your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we don't record your visit.

What we do not do

We don't rent, sell, or trade your data; we don't buy ad trackers or third-party analytics. The sole outside code is the carriers' application system on the application page, and it only loads if you visit there.
